Hello there!

Eyes are frequently referred to as the gateway to the soul. If so, you want to play them up.  This blog acts as a gateway to some of my  personal experiences with eye makeup techniques and products. I wanted to write this to make use of all of the money I've spent on worthless junk and on my favorite products.  My love and obsession with make-up, but particularly the eyes, stems from my art interest. I had taken many art classes in high school and was going to go to school for it but I realized I wanted to write more than I wanted to sit in a room all day stressed out over a painting I would never feel was truly finished. Any who,  around the tenth grade I started to play around with shadows I stole from my sister's room.  After a while I realized that being an art student had given me a steady hand and voila! I had the potential to do my own makeup for prom and not cringe when I looked at myself in the mirror! The reason I focus on the eyes is just because I've been obsessed with the unique patterns and colors of eyes for as long as I can remember and I'm always amazed at how different techniques can make one person's eyes look larger and another's smaller. This interest took root as something I actually consider myself as decent at in my sophomore year when I needed an art class and I saw stage makeup was an option. The class gave me the ability to apply zombie makeup and make myself look old but it also taught me why some people's eye's look smaller and some larger with the same technique.  After that I've continued to hone my skills on others as well as being introduced to newly released products. This blog will talk about bad products I've used, in detail not just 'it's bad', more affordable versions of name brand's as well as talk about techniques I love to use. To me makeup is a part of fashion so every now and then my blog might mention a favorite fashion trend that will go along with a great new eye technique or maybe even a new lip trend that would accent it well. Alright, time to get back to my busy college life!
SEE you around soon=]
